Pheh, I do not know what I was thinking, I forgot Sylphs in the SC/DF alliance army! I edited the "correct" version of the army up, even if the tourney is over(I missed it, too much schoolwork to go). I also just got Milargo JH, and am switching it in for all future builds with Phoenix. The 21 to 20 defense and 5 to 4 damage for the exact same point value was just too much to pass up, even if "Milargo" does not have RS, the +1 defense is MUCH better, IMO.
Also, just to make this post count, here is a SW/DF build I am toying about with.
Mech(s)[/u]
1 "Alpha" Mangonel
w/Anastasia Kerensky
w/Improved Targeting or Reactive Armor
Vehicle(s)[/u]
1 Arrow IV Artillery Tank(DF)
Infantry[/u]
2 Undine Battle Armor(Protecting it)(DF)
3 SW Undine Battle Armor(Formation)
Situationals/Faction Prides[/u]
Steel Wolves-Dragon's Fury Situational Alliance
Total:450pts
Planetaries
Active Volcanoes & Storm
Strategies[/u]
The basic premise behind this army is to stay in the water as much as possible with "Alpha" and the Undines. The Arrow IV is not much in support, as neither are the Undines, but they shall work, to a degree. With Alpha being able to run first turn into the water and use up a click os SU Evade, she shall push herself better, and if Active Volcanoes permits the one round it is used, Turn one shall have a possible 6-click damager at 16" range. That is where the SA comes into play. With the +1 damage in the SA, all the units(Not sure on the artillery though) gets an increase in damage. Obviously "Alpha" benefits, with a prime damage of 6 clicks, which would easily rock more than its fair share of attackers. While it is dangerous to put all the points into just one mech like this, I have always wanted to use "Alpha", and I like the idea behind this. Yes, there will not be much in support(Other than artillery), a good smack by "Alpha" should more than its fair share of players realing. The Storm PC garuantees water(Hopefully), so as to keep "Alpha" from running too hot.
The only problem other than support with this army is I have neither Anastasia Kerensky, or H IT. The person who was going to trade me her only had one, and had three "Alphas", so I am not in the best of runnings with getting one. But when I do, I shall try to play this army.
