Well I know this thread is way late, but I haven't had much time since I started back into college the day after gencon ended. But I will say it was good times and I wish I could have hung out with you all more, also congrats Matt on whatever you did to get that huge box of Halo clicks.
The funniest part of the 50k was when I was sitting at the feature table drafting with Will recording all our picks and taking pictures, and while the head judge was saying over the PA system "There is to be no talking during the draft portion of the 50k" Matt walks up to me shaking this huge box it the air yelling "Hey Greg Look what I got because I dropped from the 50k".
Anyways I got hosed in the draft portion, although I managed to outplay most of my opponents and then they'd shove their pieces into mine and win the initiative the following turn . Two of my losses happened that way (and one of the wins from the draft portion as well) and one loss due to not getting a blade for trample on 22 dice, and a loss to Pilarz on time (Man that guy plays slow). But I went undefeated in the constructed sections, and after looking at my tie breakers I was one win away from getting a lap dance from Lumpy, which I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing .
Oh well I just wanted to make one last thread before dreamblade is forgotten forever, and thanks for all the great games. I guess I'll have to migrate over to the mech section of the forums now ;D.
