I've been considering double asarak. Since he is only 5 points, it seems like a nice basis for a ranged army.
In particular hunter's mark helps out with hitting and some pets might be good for close in fighting. I'm thinking something like:
Asarak hunters mark bloodclaw multi-shot
Asarak hunters mark bloodclaw multi-shot
Mojo shaper Chain lightning fog of war grounding totem
it's 14 points and seems like it should be able to hit fairly hard.
Alternatively, swapping mojo for thangal with bear and starfire might be pretty brutal as well due to reroll power and taunt. that brings the army to 18, though.
Thoughts?

Azarak is a pretty solid little guy. His Ranged attack is solid enough, and the Bloodclaws can take the long way around so as to not get ripped to shreds. Mojo doesn't really add enough to the army. Thangal adding reroll, a huge magic attack, and Bear Form does. However, going up 1 whole kill does add for some issues. This army is fragile, and clustering leads to get bombed. You should be able to simply get a few good hits in with the Hunters, but they won't hold up when the big melee guys or Mages come up the field. Testing is in order.

They are pretty solid agianst melee -- at least as solid as haruka, if you consider her solid They do have a problem with spells, which is why I prefer having a grounding totem around to keep from getting blasted. Still with a 4 range and a turn 2 FoW, they can mostly get in the first shot with at least one reroll on their target. Plus chain lightning is nice for when you really need 1 or 2 magic attacks in there. I played the army once last night against Ron and it pounded face pretty good. Ron had a mostly melee army though, so that was a bit of a problem. The -1 move was absolutely brutal for him. And bloodclaw ate the clothy. chomp. I think the army would have problems with a wierd army like a trip paladin or something with 4 armor, but should still do quite well against something with an average of 2 armor or even 3 with it's low cost. You only need 3 kills and some vps with this thing. It definitely warrants some testing, I think. Maybe I'll bring it out on Saturday. Z
