I saw your strategy. It is a reasonable one. I think in all the October events I played I didn't get one Double VC count for CCing. It is nice being able to capture a perfect whole mech (which is what this army is built for). It would be a nasty army to face against. It is not an army for the timid though! The only reasonable way to deal with this army would be to pog it to death but then again. that is my answer for most things It is a very strong army. I don't think I have any more October events to play or I would give it a shot! Zxqueb! congrats on 300th post!

In terms of pogging it to death... That 18inch indirect will hopefully deal with the arty before it's a problem. Remember, I am not concerned with doing any real damage to enemy mechs...

I know what your idea is.. It just goes against everything I believe in Maybe that is why it will do pretty well

As an update, I have a couple of cool AotW designed. I am going to be MIA for the rest of this week, but I will try to get them up this weekend.

Nice army, I had fun playing against this one . Only problem is that since this is all mechs, if one or two of them get taken down, you would be in a tight spot(Not to mention with "Alpha", the army loses its biggest punch), not to mention "Julez" kind of loses her edge if a PC like Tornado comes into affect.

Ok.. I need to go home and check my cards.. Battleplanner and MWrealms says the cost of Julz (le) in her mech is 27. Is that correct? that would leave you more points to play with!
if your original total is correct.. I would put Camouflage in Alpha (for 3 points) just to bring my total to 600. I probably wouldn't use the camouflage. I just like having a 600 pt total.

ok... It is not as usual for MWrealms (and therefore Battleplanner) to be wrong I would still recommend putting a Camo in Alpha There is just something right about hitting the build total!

Yep, that's a great idea Baw. When I move it to the archive (probably Friday), I'll add the camo.

It is an interesting army. I really dislike paying all those points for ArP but I understand the issue. I do like the flexibility of moving into formation. That is a very powerful idea. It looks like another fun army to try... If I only got to play more Hmm This also brings up a questions about the Equipment. I am going to take that question over to the rules forum.

Hmmm, on the new army, I am not the biggest fan of taking Kisho out on his lonesome, but he is a pretty solid mech. The problem I see here is the Purifier/Undine, which is unless just expensive point filler until I get up that final Scout ATV you need (Still waiting for a friend to go until I can come back up when a Tues. is free, sorry about it), it just lacks a good deal of mobility. Is not the speed of the UBA a 7? Just seems a bit too slow with the other two. I myself have found problems with designing a 450 army for CNC/SC. Usually one thing I want to do though is use a Bishp/Enyo drop, combined with perhaps "Rising Sun", and another transport full of infantry, with some point filler. Kisho's ability, IMO, is made a bit less useful with the AP, since it basically already serves that purpose. Usually, I see "Rising Sun"/Arzu better, simply because of the higher attack, though they are more expensive. But back onto the army as a whole. With all the ATVs, a problem with bigger 'mechs is somewhat neutered, and as long as your support can run circles around the opponent and keep Kisho pretty much untouchable, you are good to go. Hope you have luck supporting the Clan while I am away.
