Mk 2.0 for the most part actually was an improvement......It was the follow up expansion mechanics that tanked it!

...oh and they new system looks exactly like what I have been telling Southpaw13 they should do for heroclix for about 3 of their 5 years of existance!...i might have to start playing, I miss my clickies! Or maybe I'll get a free case for giving them the idea....

It's nice to actually have a rarity level as opposed to experience levels. Now my only question is do the rarity levels actualy represent rarity or is it just a new experience level system.
Are we going to see x common pieces in a booster, y uncommons, z rares with a cahnce of a super rare replacing another figure?
I don't mind the idea of doing the character cards. It was only a matter of time since this was commented on as soon as Horrorclix came out.
If everything is implemented well it won't be a Mageknight 2.0 fiasco. I mean Age of Destruction replaced Dark Age smoothly enough. But we didn't get crazy unballanced new mechanics every set either.

Hopefully they've learned enough to know how to implement a 2.0 system without killing their game lines?

I do have high hopes though. Maybe after so many years they're finally learning how to make it right. I'll be very happy if the new game is playable and MORE fun than the old game.
