Still looking for the sweet spot

After a couple of ass whuppins at the hands of Warlord1985, I came to the stunning conclusion that a 96 card deck is too big...

Anyway, I went back to the drawing board and came away with a lean mean 82 card deck...

I can't imagine how you get everything you need into 60 cards much less 52.

I guess I should stick to games with a hard cap on deck size!

It is pretty hard dude. I cut alot of cards out of what I wanted, and I need to add in about 5-6 more that I just got. This game will take a little more thought than BSG.

The rule of thumb I saw was something like:

16-24 ships
10-12 locations
16-24 news
5-10 starbase additions

Obviously it depends what your deck is trying to do. I imagine Jeff's crazy starbase defense deck is going to be more starbase pump cards and less news, but at least this is a decent guideline.
