Hey guys -- got word this afternoon that I don't have to work on Friday -- So I'm going out to Oberlin on Thursday night to play some dreamblade. Not sure what your plans are, but if you guys are doing something after you play whatever game you play on Thursday at recess, let me know. Dave, you have my cell #.

Well, we usually play Star Wars til around 9 when we go to eat (aka I buy Jeff food). I know Oberlin closes around 8-8:30 now. I you wanted to meet us somewhere afters that would be good. Jeff doesn't get off school til 2 so I can't converse til then unless he posts. I'm up for it.

Well, we usually play Star Wars til around 9 when we go to eat (aka I buy Jeff food). Nobody says you have to. Eat before you come to play. I'm not exactly a waif, I don't need to eat at Chipotle. Why do you think I quit Mech? Boosters were too expensive for what I got (worthless pieces) and then afterwards everyone goes out to eat, leaving me to make everyone uncomfortabe by telling them I can't afford to hang out with them at the restaurant, or worse, sitting there and making them uncomfortable by watching them eat. Unfortunately, I have to deal with trying to get a college education while trying to survive and keep afloat with a family of five. If I were in any way responsible, I wouldn't even be playing games unless they're free. The fact of the matter is this, I have another year of school left. Until I graduate, I am going to be flat broke, nearly all the time. I can usually squeeze about $10-$20 bucks a week to piss away. A single booster of any of these games eats most of that up, not to mention other things come up during the week, such as school on Wednesdays when I am in class for 8 hours straight. I have to eat out, and it comes out of the budget. I am sorry if my being economically challenged is grating on everyone, but it's not going to change until I graduate. I have done my best to hang in there, because I enjoy hanging out with you guys and gaming in general. I do my best to make do, but it obviously isn't working. Now I remember why I started playing board games!!! ;D Enough bellyaching, -Vladd BTW I got a full set of Dreamblade commons on ebay...$1000 here I come....

Wow Dan, take a joke, we all know you suck at life.
Honestly dude, I don't care, I extend the same courtesy to all my friends. I just hope that they would do the same for me if the time occured. Its just the way I am, I don't let friends go hungry. I would eat if I had time to stop home between my 9-6 schedule at work today. I am perfectly content with picking up my friends if the can't, I do it for Jesse all the time.
Please don't turn this into another debate we had with "other" friends, just EAT THE d**n BURRITO! (without a mess)

I may suck at life, but I don't suck at the games I talk about so verbosely!! As for the other thing, the poor and destitute are sensitive to these sorts of things. I am particularly short fused at the moment because Jim thinks I don't buy from his store because I'm getting it somewhere else. And we all know how pleasant Jim can be when he decides to give you a hard time... Oh yeah, and Dave try an emoticon when you type something that could be taken as prickish, you will be less likely to start a flame war

Emoticons are for the weak! I'm sorry if you took it personally. I didn't try to run it in at all, we've all been poor at times. Jims always been an not a very nice person when it comes to stuff like this. I will be making a purchase from I'm Game tonight because its the only store with Revenge of the Sith boosters, if Jim wants to complain than he can buy me some himself. Chipotle? I just had it for lunch at work, and they f**ked up 9 out of 9 orders, and this was North Olmsted's (go figure, anywhere I eat Chipotle they hate me). I don't care where we go honestly, so long as I'm not buying everyone surf and turf.

BTW, where would you guys want to go/do for eats or playing afterwards? It doesn't matter to me. I'll be in oberlin and you'll be in olmstead, so somewhere in the middle would work best. I'll let you guys decide. Just let me know -- I'll forgo dinner until after the tournament and meet you guys wherever. See you in a couple hours, Z
