When I started out my first pieces were valor oriented so of course I played the most popular faction. 2 Scissors 2m 1 Pic-pic 3m 1 Runetag Brawler 3v 1 Knight of Tomorrow 5v 1 Twilight Scout 5v 1 Falcon Warrior 5v 2 Mirrorman 6v 1 Sir Glorious 6vv 3 Eagle Feathered Warriors 6v 1 All Seeing Mage 7mm 1 Hawkeyed Instigator 7vv 1 Scaglemaw 9v I'm in the process of getting Steelborn Griffins and Lions so I can make a reinforce team. The idea of just bypassing movement up so I can just place them down is hot. If I ever get a castle that will be awesome too. I just got a brighthammer avenger (thanks matt) so I have to find a way to possibly work him in. -W

It's a strong team -- A reinforce team would really be strong and you could take out a lot of the movement stuff and put in a couple upper end bloodcut (for both the lions to spawn to and the sheer power!) to REALLY bash wherever you need to. You'd probably still need a castle or 2 to really bring it home.
Something like this: 2 castles 3 Eagle Feathered Warriors 6v 3x Lions 3x Griffins 2-3x twilight scouts Big Janus blade guy who needs your opponent to be at 3vcs to spawn 1-2 other big dudes
Yes, you lose the scissors and the early game (on purpose) to spawn a few bigger dudes and get the janus guy out to really mess stuff up starting turn 3.
Could be really workable and you could concentrate your fight on the far side of the board without fear of being cut off from your reserves.
You might not need more than one castle if you take 3 scouts for their advance.

I was just looking at some forums and on a pieces list. I think you are playing the all seeing mage wrong, Dave. It should be one warpstrike per blade with the option of spending 2 blades for 2 warpstrikes, not 1 blade =2 warpstrike. It looks like the bottom has Janus Warpstrike listed twice, each next to its own blade. And that's what the chatter on the wotc forums seems to indicate.

Yeah, I found that out tonight. I figured it must be wrong I was always confused on them. The mage is awesome though.

Yep, He is still awesome, especially if you hit two blades.

Well, must be doing something right with that army since I made 2nd place last night. Got myself an eater of hope for my troubles. Awesome.
I love Eagle-Feather's!
