So I've tried this out VS Chris a few times. Its performed well and I think it can definetly be a fun team if not a slight competitor.
Zomm Hopeslayer
-Sprint
-Ambush
-Evasion
NOTE: Zomm's card lets him play 3 Action Bars at one time.
Haruka Skycaller
-Healing Wave
-Earth Shock
Omedus the Punisher
-Shadowform
-Mind Blast
This is a fairly balanced team thus far. The rock is Haruka. She is a very tough rock and she marches fairly straightforward up the middle with her solid 3/3 def. Omedus and Zomm shoot up the sides as each can easily take care of themselves. This teams good def ratings keeps it safe from being chewed out.
The real hidden strength IMO of this team is Zomm who has claimed more kills and real pain and annoyances that Chris has endured. Being able to act each turn with 3-4 dice, sometimes 5 and be able to be defensive in his Evasion and 2/3 Def is amazing. He has stabbed many men to death like the Grumphries autocannon.
Omedus, while not the be all end all, is still a huge threat. While his range is small you can suprise them with Mind Blast and get the opening shot for 6 dice for 2 ticks is amazing. Following that up with a 4 tick 8 power attack that can do up to 10 damage is INSANE.
No figure by itself will win the game single handedly but since each figure itself is a threat at all times the opponent has to asses each one. With Zomm acting every turn and stabbing folks I believe could be very good with flanking into the rear and not allowing them to retreat behind the bushes and into the fray for Omedus to blast and Haruka to do her 1-2 punch.
Possible side bar cards for the Shaman and Omedus are Stoneclaw Totem and Shadow Word: Pain.
