Best and worst pieces in Anhilations

O.K. so by type what is the best and worst piecies in Anhilation.

Mechs: By far Jack will be a dominant piece for its' ablities and the B.A.P. gear it comes with. Quantum is close second.

The worst has to be morigans I think they'll be filler mechs and charge monkeys.

Vehicles: It's really hard to choose between the Bishops, the Saviors or the Enyos. But all are solid and are needed.

Of course the JES III get this, It is a very bad filler piece and I think the Belonas will be more effective.

Infantry: Can't give it to the ATVs they've been out before. ;D But thoose RAvagers are sweet! most have 2 damage down the dial and BR also has Reactive down its'dial also.

okok.. Ineed to open my case tonight. I will have more insight. From what I have played and seen your statements seem to be pretty true. Actually in sealed the Havoc's worked MUCH better than I would have every imagined!

Havocs are not bad A davion one served me well in Mike's draft, tough I went 0 and 2.

The Liao Havoc (I thougth I would never use on a bet) but I have used in both of my Call to Arms and it ended up being a hero in both!

Well, after playing Buford in the CTA, I have to say that he is pretty great. With a 12 attack, it's not too hard to beat a defense by 3. 6-10 damage to a mech is sick and wrong. Add to that the fact that you can use it with an assault AND full stike and you have a wonderful piece. A powerful beatstick.


I don't really care for the saviors. I'd take CT + drop for around the same points and more effectiveness.

I like the solitaires, NC (except that HK one) and stalking spiders a lot, but I agree the morrigans and havocs are not great. I'm just glad to see some mechs that you can really build into an army!!

Buford is pretty impressive in sealed. My best mech I have pulled so far was the House Kurita Nova cat (in sealed) I wasn't too impressed either. The reason I though so much of the Liao Havoc.. I expectd nothing from it but it did well

Granted, I have a tendency to overlook low damage output in leiu of speed/survivability on a light mech (I used to love the DF Mongoose w/ Katana and Evade), but I am actually a big fan of the SC Morrigan w/ Scott Graves and Evade. Gotta love that 25 Decoy. I've been thinking about a 600 point DF/SC SC card army in which this little guy would act as the rabbit for the opponent to chase into range of my other big nastiness.

Ok, I gotta add my few pennies in here...

I am a big fan of the Combat Techs, now especially the Liao ones

I am also a big fan of the Angerona BA, good range, survivability... Make nice support for a RCF

And I gotta say, Chief is becoming a big favorite of mine. Add Enrico and ER Ammo, bam, a monster! Of course adding Enrico and ER ammo to most assaults and you have a monster, but still... this monster will hit you back for 5 damage after taking up to 8 damage himself

The combat Techs are decent pieces. They helped me win a couple of sealed I am not sure how well they will do in constructed though. They have some interesting attributes.

South Paw, your Cambat Techs were definitely the MVPs in your battle against me on Tuesday. With two Combat Techs and the SS/BR SA card, South Paw's one SS Arrow IV pretty much held up against a Liao Paladin and a HL Paladin. A very useful combo.
