Just playing around with ideas.
BR Soli -Graves -IT BR Soli -Mazur -IT ROTS Bishop -RD Huitzilopochtli ROTS MHI Amphibious APC -BR Elite Infantry -ROTS Combat Tech RD Clan Battle Armor (Vanguard) x3 BR/RD SA ======================== TOTAL: 599
It's weak on a few units, but it's something I've been wanting to try. The SA is excellent, but this may not be the best use of it. Repair is an easy switch-out for the Solitaires, but I figured between the SA and the PD-Repair drop, I probably didn't need the 'Mechs loaded up with it too.
Thoughts?

Very few, I am still not sold on SA's.
Is the RD hutch that good ?
I think not take a WH Kelswa for the same effect instantly, you are making it difficult for yourself. All because you can repair ?
MH1 are to expensive to use. Take a Bishop and add a piece.
Youa re fine playing vanguard pieces in the army, but it is not even close to the more efficient choices you can make.
Dear Trev I a not wanting to rain on your parade, but in August you will face me, you better have something ready that will beat me ;D
This will not......
For testing and fun sure have fun.
My few evil thoughts.... Elite130

Elite, I'd have at least thought you would have given Trev a pat on the back for fitting IT to everything he possibly could RHD need something to get them to their prime as quicky as possible. I find it bizzare that a faction that needs to take damage comes with a load of armour for protection! I'm not sure if the Solis can get back in time if they're damaged and are only given 1 click of repair per turn. Then again, if you fit repair to just 1 mech, you're kind of signalling your intent as to which one carries the offensive punch. I suppose the beauty of this SA is that the tank can be pushed whilst in the transport which should get over its relatively poor damage value. As little as 1 click will turn this tank into a very dangerous opponent. Using that same SA to repair, it also comes out of salvage quite nicely. As for the WH Kelswa - not a fan. I think I would go for BR TGRs for my drop - and use a 3 cap so I at least had something to scoop up the tank if my first VTOL went for a burton. In a 600-pointer, would the RHD Thor be a decent piece for this SA?

Elite130 Hey man, don't you worry about that. THAT I've got covered. I'm just trying out units that look interesting to me, and RD Huey is definitely one of those.

I don't know, Trev. I seem to remember you looking up at me as I walked past your table at Nats last year to pick up my SS A-4 pogs and gesturing to your table and making a comment like "Look who's not going to get up and get the arty tokens." I hope your assessment of power pieces has picked up in the past year. I can't wait to see your army of nothing but Morningstars in August. That'll RULE. Just giving you a hard time, man. I know we are all going to be bringing our A games to Worlds. Five days to the invite, baby!!! Z

By the way, I do like the army, though I agree that it could use a formation drop of some sort to get the whosyourdaddy's attack up. The PD and Repair can easily be left in the DZ.

I think my army from last year's Nats would've messed UP the Top 4 armies at Nats. But terrible dice and a terrible Sealed pull pretty much precluded that matcup from ever happening.

You guys are starting to stress me out already. I guess we do need to think about worlds armies. It will be interesting to see what we can do I think we will have some interesting armies. I really need to get serious thinking. I think when July gets here and 600 is the standard It will give me at least some more chances to play some armies that aren't scenario!

Brett, you're a smart guy. Tell me this: Why the hell would I post a Worlds army here or on any other MW board, for that matter? You guys are my bros and all that crap, but I'm not broadcasting my build, sorry. June's Storyline bores the hell out of me. June's Sealed has no appeal to me (since I don't wanna risk my rating on a set that's so horrendous for Sealed). Storyline II events for this month read "Event description coming soon". So basically I only have Unrestricteds to test armies out at. And one of the freaking UNRESTRICTEDS I went to this month was an all-'Mech scenario. I'M BORED!!!!

Its gonna be fun anyway, because we normally would discuss armys in private and all... But now we are all in the same (big, important) tournament, and we're keeping secrets from eachother World is gonna be some cut-throat competition, between friends

Having run a similar army for a 450, I can tell you that while HyL isn't necessarily all that reliable, that particular combo is one of the best you're gonna see. My build was:
Loki -Aiko -HyL HD MHI Amphibious -HD TTL -HD Centaur HD Simian x4 HD FP (Re-roll) ============== 450ish
And even though I missed an absolute ton of rolls, I was still in it to the end, because the Loki is so strong.
