Man, we suck at trash talking and bragging.

Oh, BTW.... I just got my check for $250 from the first and only db tourney I've been to.
Is that anything to brag about?

That definitely is something to brag about.
And yes, we suck at both bragging and trash talking. I just put this up to keep a running tally for my own amusement. At some point, it may be real bragging rights. Still 73% win record isn't too bad at this point.

I'm about 12/8 against Karen, my girlfriend. She pretty good.
Matt, are you enjoying db more than you thought you would? How are you dealing with the "random" aspect of it? I know you are all about decreasing your luck factor.

I'm ranked 420th in the world. Out of a world population of 6,654,393,099, that puts me in the top 6.311619914E-8 of the Earth's denizens at playing Dreamblade. A true King of Kings.
Oh yeah, I won a booster pack at Gencon....Bow down.
This of course doesn't include the 6-2 I've gone at my last two tournaments...I'm probably even more impressive when those post. ;D

I know you are all about decreasing your luck factor. I am enjoying DB much more than I thought I would. I am starting to come to terms with the statistics of the game. I think play outweighs luck in the long run of the game and there are lots of ways to minimize luck by focusing on the things you can control like movement / positioning and paying attention to statistics when you actually need to do some fighting. I think lost one game on dice rolls and probably won one game due to dice rolls which is not bad in 15 games. The other times, I either lost due to some bad decisions which came back to bite me or won due to manuvering and playing statistics games. I find that even if you get cold dice for a turn or two in the game and lose a turn or two, the swings are big enough with the extra spawn points that it's easy to swing things back in your favor again once you hit some average rolls. Its different than mech in that if you miss your key push, you've pretty much lost the game against an opponent of equal skill. I've started a DB tactica for the site with a bunch of observations in there. I'll probably have it up in a week or two after I both tweak it and make sure I have the tactics correct. Z
