Well, now that the set is out, what are your thoughts on which pieces are the best of the set? Here are mine--
1) Aviax Firebrand - probably the single best piece in the set. Awesome ability which can be used offensively or defensively to great end.
2) Probability walker: Maybe the most deceptively powerful piece in the set. It's ability can ruin pretty much anyone's day.
3) Toxic Sludger - Best fear piece in the set. It turns off all locations, sure, but completely shuts down several army types and is beefy enough to stick around on the board. Love it.
4) Boogeyman - great retreat ability. It makes it nearly impossible for your opponent to bash you if they are going first (which is when you'd play it).
5) Lord Slobber - Appease and raise. Great stats on a 2 drop. Great abilites. Wonderful piece, I wish I had pulled a second one.
6) slaughterwheel: Very solid pieces and can be used to pull off some neat tricks.
7) Ropestrung Scarecrow - Multiblade scare is great.
8) octarilla: This opens up a new warband possibility with DHC. I like it, though it is costly.
9) Succulent Creeper -- Cheap lure. Like it.
10) *TIE* Arsonist: Whether this is great still remains to be seen. But it's certainly better than the boots!
10) *TIE* Whispering Imp - Mutation is a neat trick. The imps are a bit too fragile, but being able to splash multi-aspect 5-6 drops easier is quite nice. Jury is still out on this one, but my gut says they will be useful.
Note the absence of Valor from this list. It's about time they got the short end of the stick.
