So what do people think of the 6-pack of Mechs that WK announced? Any of you BMs planning to get these to run events?
I'm still kinda on the fence. I hate charging entry fees for events, but I know several of the players would really like to get the Mechs from this set, and a few would even like to just buy a set from the venue.

One venue near me will most likely offer one set at a Kill + Keep event. You could ask for an entry fee or make it a sealed event, and players shouldn't be too upset by that. Just a thought.

I am in negotiations to order one right now! I am not sure how popular they are going to be with the venues.

Are the stats available for those puppies? And is there any other way then e-bay to get them if you're not a retailer?

Are the stats available for those puppies? And is there any other way then e-bay to get them if you're not a retailer? No stats yet, though hopefully soon. I think some retailers will direct-sell them to you if asked, as Baw suggested. I don't see a problem with that. Or you could ask a friend on this forum or one of the others to get one for you. Just be sure to include a finder's fee, eh?

Although I'm not a retailer and don't have a code, I did place an order and did get an Order Number back from the site. Maybe this is a glitch as with the Nintendo DS Code being required (or not) for the Phantom War pack. Anyway, I do BM at a Military Club, so perhaps that's why it worked (fingers crossed). In case you hadn't seen the Pilot Stats for the Mechs, they were up on a Realms thread and here they are:
109 Dirty Bird Vulture MK IV L-078: 26 points (Steiner) 1/2/1. 40pts in own mech. Can make a second attack with a -2 to attack whenever he kills an opposing figure for the first time in a turn - he takes an extra heat fpr doing so.
112 Claw Karhu L-080: 26 points (RHD) 1/2/1. 35 pts in own mech. Takes 1 less damage when she charges to a minimum of 1.
113 Freemont Wulfen L-081: 21 points (CW) 2/2/0. 31 pts in own mech. If he hits an attack but deals no damage, he can make a second one free of charge and gains armor-piercing.
114 Shadow Raven GS-066: 20 points (GS) 1/2/1. 30 pts in own mech If an opposing figure breaks away from him and there are no other figures in base contact, he gets to come along for the ride as long as he's placed in the front arc of the figure and takes 1 heat.
117 Kingslayer Xanthos GS-067: 46 points (GS) 1/2/1. 52 pts in own mech. Can decrease damage by 1 for taking 1 heat.
119 All Nine Wendigo L-084: 21 points (CNC) 0/2/1. 30 points in own mech. Able to cool for 2 clicks on a turn where she didn't do anything instead of just 1.
Something for everyone I guess. Will Kingslayer be a rival to Chikako???

Man, Freemont's ability is weird . . . that should be an interesting piece, just judging from the ability.
I really like All Nine's ability. That could allow for a lot more action, if it's heat dial is strong!

Shadow Raven is pretty crazy. The heat for kingslayer is nice. Extra Heat for a quad mech is ok most of the time. They can burn it off pretty quick!

I like all nine's ability -- It's more useful than the others. 2 heat back from a cool means that you can use your mech 3 turns in a row instead of the normal two. There is some solid power in that.
