Gencon Paris 25-27 May 07

I know its a bit early to start a thread on this (although I can imagine someone who contributes to this forum has already been testing... ). I've just noticed that the venue has moved to the Palais de Congres to the North of the city centre. This is a MASSIVE step up from last year's venue and should help to put the event on the Euro map.

Its pretty near the ring road so there should be plenty of cheap hotel rooms available.

Not sure if Tom and I will be able to make it. The event takes place just before a school holiday stars. Anyway, I've written it on our calendar and so far Mrs C hasn't noticed...

And i hope that there will be alot more players then last year.

And uhm, isnt everyone testing for that event already?



P.S. i even have this feeling some US guys will show up there, wich would be awesome!

Shame about the MW Euro event being moved from Paris.

Germany is a little more difficult to get to but the 2005 event was very well run (well, German efficiency and all that...) and the commuity cente was just right (sleeping on the floor certainly saved on hotel bills!).

What is a bit more worrying is the fact that MW has been sacrificed in favour of Heroclix (not enough space to run both, so they've dropped the less well supported game).

Looks like we'll have to show up in strength in Germany to prove them wrong.
