Yes yes, you cannot use your Spirit Cats or Liao, so you must go with Steel Wolves, which you otherwise would berate. You seem to only use them when you need to, and berate them when other things are available. Perhaps you would like to keep to your stravag Liao and Spheriod armies, Quiaff?

I have never berated the Wolves or any other faction, though I might have smack-talked those who were playing those factions at some point.
I honestly don't have the ties to any particular factions that I once had. The SAs and FPs have made it much more interesting to collect factions across the board so you can design armies that play differently each week. That's one of the best things about the AoD ruleset!

Well, I will bring my wolves tonight, so it will be a trial of grievance rather than an all-out war through known space, okay?

P.S. All contractions were omitted for your sensitive ears, clan-boy!

Remember to bring the MW4 disks and a Trial may be avoided, as I consider other armies at the moment.

Neg it was not a "batchall". The tournament ended with me 2-1(Second), and Matt with 3-0(One bye). I lost to him in the third round of the tourney.

In honor of the next storyline featuring the Spirit/Nova Cats, I shall be taking a force of them to conquer our wayward allies, the Dragon's Fury.
255pts 1 Declan Devalis 26pts 1 Sylph Battle Armor 48pts 1 R10 Mechanized ICV 75pts 1 DI Morgan Assault Tank 46pts 2 Saxon APC 40pts 2 Undine Battle Armor 20pts 1 Oni Battle Armor(HK) 48pts 3 PAl Suit 40pts 1 Spirit Cat/Dragon's Fury SA 598pts:Total
Planetaries:Ice Field, Desert Wasteland.
The primary idea is to take blocking, and lots of it. Against an army possibly containing one mech(Maybe a RHDM), I would play Ice Field, sort of as it would not help either of us anymore than the other, where as DW would be used against an army with 2 or more mechs, as in a "HAHAH, I cut you more than I cut myself!" mentality. anyways, I would place the blocking so that I could keep my pieces behind it and use the SA to its advantage, shooting from behind without risking my own skin. The PALs will stay near the Marauder II, but the Saxons will be there to either A)Get to the DZ and put the kibash on enemy Arty, or B)Drop out and grapple something that otherwise might risk hitting my Declan. The DI is there as another heavy hitter in tandem with Declan, as in a follow-up attack(I have some new dice that are working quite well, so a good hit for 4 clicks of energy, followed by another 4, not to mention the possible pulse damage, will not be most pretty).
So, any comments/critiques?

I Like the SA and Declan. The issue I have is that Declan generally can't hit those 24 defense mechs (for me ... I would be lucky to hit koshi's ) I would like to have some long range formation to improve declan's attack. Hauberks or something to assist in his attack value (Well I would look for something better than hauberks unless you played .. the DF LE one with command) The only issue I see is the perceived weakness versus RHDMs.

Alright, new SW army, in recognition of me getting the "Alpha" Mangonel in a trade(Still waiting to see if HaloFurry has Ana K.), so I decided to build a SW 750pt army.
1 "Alpha" Mangonel w/Anastasia Kerensky w/H Improved Targeting(OR H Decoy, have not decided yet) 1 Thunder Fox w/NAIS Graduate 1 Blade w/Steel Wolves Star Captain w/L Improved Targeting 1 Hanse MBT 3 Undine Battle Armor(In the Hanse's rear as a formation) 1 Minigun Cycle Steel Wolf Faction Pride Total:750pts(-25pts for FP) Planetaries:Active Volcanoes & Ice Field
Strategies:I plan on vs. non artillery armies to use Ice Field, and keep everything near the T-Fox(Ana K. and Minigun Cycle) and Hanse MBT(Blade) in defensive, if the enemy is using an FP or SA(Which most people at my venue tend to) as well. Then when the enemy moves on either of those two things, the others come up in one big wave and smash into them(Blade and Ana K. both have IT with 11 & 12AV respectively, so not so hard to hit).
Against artillery armies or armies that start out winning because of my FP, I will use active Volcanoes and in the beginning turns of the game, use the FP to get the T-Fox up clicks, while Ana K. and the Blade make mad dashes to the DZ to pound the enemy artillery, then swing back around and smash into the rears of the enemy while my T-Fox and Hanse MBT move up to disttract them from the front. Yes, most opponents shall notice Ana K. and the Blade coming in running, but that still does not mean they are going to tackle them head on, especially with a 16", 5AP, 12IT Attack, not to mention her partner!
The field would be set up with a piece of hindering on one side of m field, near the DZ, and an H piece of blocking near it, perferably put at an angle, with its one side as close to the left of the board as can be allowed. Active Volcanoes is a must for any SW army, one round of free SWFP is always good, especially against small armies with one to two RHDM. Ice Field helps this army with three mechs, and it would mess up people who are going to use water for their mechs, as then they have to come up to my side with their pieces rather than sit in water.
Alright, enough from me, any comments or critiques?

I am a big believer in hitting your target. I would suggest taking the IT over Decoy. Her defense just isn't good enough to justify spending points on Decoy. You are setting up for 3 rounds of Play. If you have a fourth or expect to play that I would bring Minefields along.
25pts for the faction pride seems a little extreme for me also. I really don't care for SW faction pride. I would look to see if you couldn't fit something else better in! An Arrow IV (or even a padilla if unrestricted) would do a good job and have flexibilty!

Another new army, this month's storyline.
Mech(s)[/u] 1 "Kaminari" Shiro w/Moriko Horiama w/Decoy Vehicles[/u] 1 R10 Mechanized ICV(DF)(Carrying DI Morgan Assault Tank) 1 DF Morgan Assault Tank(SC) 1 Saxon APC(SC)(Carrying after Infiltrating Gun Nest) Infantry[/u] 1 Gun Nest(DF) 3 PAL Suit(SC) 1 Sylph Battle Armor(SC) Situational Alliances/Faction Prides[/u] Spirit Cat/Dragon's Fury Total:600pts
Planetaries[/u] None
Strategies:Use the DF/SC alliance to my advantage, by sitting behind a piece of blocking and shooting out with my 18" range 5 AP Shiro with no penalties. If any targets get hit. I then drop the tank and fire for four more clicks, plus heat if they are a mech. The infantry are there to cover the Shiro, and the Saxon/Undine are either VC3 or to drop/stop any transports coming at me. Thoughts?
