Well umm, I think it safe to say we can tell what faction you play...
Well, first question. What kind of tourney? Restricted or unrestricted? If unrestricted, you'll have a pretty good choice, but if restricted, well, you might need some pilots for that T-Fox and Valiant, which are yor two best Tourney-legal mechs. Think you could give point totals for all those pieces by editing the posts? That would help a bunch.

im going for both actually theres a rotating tourney scheduel and i want to play them both restricted and un restricted this is my first army ive played only 2x befor and i scored this army from ebay i have a jade falcon one as well there inc atm tho so i cant give u points on them heres the jade falcon one

Alright, well for an unrestricted SSw army I would say go with something along these lines.
450pts
1 Derek Hasbani 286pts 1 (Elite0Sniper Artillery 58pts(?) 1 Hendrene Michfaulk ?pts 5 Hoverbike Squad 15/75pts(In formation with Hendrene) Fill up any extra points with extra infantry.
CJf army
1 Ursa w/Pilot, you need pilots w/Heavy Decoy, you need Heavy decoy 1 Shadow Hawk IIC w/Pilot you need pilots w/I dunno, what weight class is it? 1 Kelswa 4 Gray Death Scout Battle Armor(In formation with Kelswa) Whatever else you need to make it 450pts
You should get pilots and gears for your mechs, they are immensly helpful.

The SHadow hawk is Falcon's Prey.. No pilots for that unit!
I have seen some good armies with SHone Roshak.. Black rose is better now but Shone had his day in the sun!
Just a quick off the cuff idea.. it is not worked out but somewhere to start thinking about an army. I will boot up battleplanner later and take an indepth look. I like

You don't have any JF sylphs? they work pretty well with Shone! You might use Track bikes. they are decent movers...

Thanks fer the tips Im working on some pilots and cards atm only data base i know of fer stats is on mwrealms its slow but helpfull but cant seem to find out where the search engine for pilots and upgrades are.. P.s i got my butt handed to me on saturday by "malice" some merc mech with pilot beat the snot outa my Jade hawk.. couldnt hit it, my tanks were outa range and my other mech "axeman" got axed earlie, then i lost again.. bad day

Which Jade hawk were you playing? Malice actually scares me when I play it.. One dice roll and the game is over.. SCARY.. (especially with the way my opponents roll dice)

tommoro ill play my swordsworn / Davion army with these rules 600-point build total; four orders per turn Of the points spent on units (only) in a player’s battleforce, half must come from units with the same faction symbol (or have no faction symbol) before the battlefield is prepared. Players may place only blocking terrain features in the terrain pile. For this scenario, planetary condition PC-009, Active Volcanoes, is in effect. No other planetary condition cards may be played,
I posted what i got so far add: goshawk 124x2 hellstare elite 254 zeusx2 254 hellionx3 113 morningstar mobile hq 50 and some towed thunder lauhchersx4 and random infintry if u think of some i can use off hand post there names and ill dig around
A strat would be nice too.
Ill be going against a shiro army most likely and jadefaclon aswell 2 people play the shiros and 2 on JF can I get some ideas on a build I have some pilots and gear for mebbe three mechs .This wil be my third tournement ..

Hmm I will have to look at the units and make suggestions. thing about shone is he needs to be moving up close under cover! His DFA is impressive and his assault order isn't too bad!
I will look at SSW army and give it some thought. Unfortunately SSW mechs aren't generally top tier... Probably Trevor or Zxqueb would be able to build a better army from these pieces. I will see if I can get a few minutes to put some thoughts together

I put this together
goshawkx1 w/ sandoval and flamers hellionx1 w/captain 004 and homing beacon
hendrik michalik FHHTx1 j-37 ordance transport w/ a behemoth 2 tank in it
and (sigh they let me get away w/) 3 hoverbike squad (cause im a newb and didnt relize they wernt legal)
It went like this .
I placed my blocking terrain so that i could get within say 20 inchs w/ out a clear lOs moved up 9 preparing for tank drop moved up and pushed next turn w/ Hovebikes he placed Arty on my bikes and made me push them 2 tokens and pushed my Tank drop 2 toiokens within range of his shiro shiro drioped the transpot w/.out my tank making it out ..Game over my hoverbikes where pushed my mechs moved up got within 4 so shiro couldnt hit meh hoverbike based shiro couldnt roll to hit it fulcrum was outa range shiro he had freakin advance targeting on all his pieces it seemed i was destened to die he won vc1 vc2 i think i killed one infantry ..Cry IRL
one question is HD SS weaksauce..

HD/SS have awesome vehicles.Most of their mechs lack.. There are some decent ones but they are few and far between.
In your army list the j-37 also isn't legal. You shouldn't have taken damage pushing the Hoverbikes if you moved in formation.
If you are moving infantry and/or tank drop you generally want him to fire first if he has only artillery!
Otherwise you need to some units up close and in his face to shut that artillery down.. Or put reactive armor on your mech and find transports with Reactive army.

You really should Hendrene in a transport. Although today she lacks the attack by herself to take down a RHDM mech... she makes an excellent unit for slaughtering some vehicles and non RHDM mechs... too bad they had to errata the pulse off her... If you could I would suggest getting some SSw Towed Gauss Rifles to simul-drop and formation with her to make a fire formation! The only bad thing about Hendrene is her poor range....

I was truly disappionted when the FAQed her Pulse. She does need formation fire as RoyalScion indicates. (although I think Black Rose needs formation fire to hit anything!)
Transporting tanks are the only way to make them work in the current game.
