12:00 to 4:00 Starcraft. (3 players - this means you Dave, get here!)
BTW It shouldn't actually take that long, but it will be our first time through.
4:00 to 5:00 Food / Three Dragon Ante
5:00 to 7:00 Rockband.
7:00 to 9:00 WOW Raids
9:00 to 11:00 Rails of Europe (Railroad Tycoon)
All times are of course flexible, in case Pirate's dice gets in the way. Garrrrrrr...
Descent is a 100 percent go next game's day, I want Shelby there to learn it and she is going to be gone for most of Saturday.

So when Shelby gets back from science day, will she be playing games with us? Or will she be saving the world...

Saving the world is a possibility. She is already addicted. We don't NEED 4 people for rockband but it is fun. At least we can actually rotate guitars because Burton won't be hogging Bass. Now hand me my 2 Handed +23 Stam Axe and we shall rock!

Dave needs to get his morning star and start shredding. And I'll actually get to play some guitar/bass this time! I was working on the rolling stones' "gimmie shelter" last night and I can't even get through the introduction on hard guitar. I want Jeff to take a run through and give me some pointers. It's ugly -- and only tier 4! How does Xbox live work? If I log on at Jeff's house, can I re-download the songs that I already paid for / downloaded so we can play them there? I know there is a code that I can put in to gain instant access to all the songs when we start since they won't be unlocked. I'll mess around on the interweb before I head over and see if I can find it so we'll have a full selection. It's funny that this game's day is the either a video game or board/card games based on video games. It makes me sort of want to drop 3 dragon from the list and add AoE3. On the other hand, I don't think we'll be able to keep from playing liar's dice, so it doesn't really matter. I am looking forward to the rediculously fun railroad tycoon now that I know what we are doing. It'll be interesting to try out the europe board... should add some extra layers of strategy with 4 people and a small board. Maybe we'll acutally interact with each other since we largely did our own thing last time. I read through the raid deck rules again. I'll say this: You'll need at least a couple decks that run allies to have a chance against it... although 4 players shouldn't have too hard a time since the raid deck isn't tweaked.

Hello and thank you for calling. All operators are busy slaying the naga and pretending to be trees to help seek out the betrayer of the Draenei at the moment but we will gladly return your message after I save the world....or at least Bloodmyst Island. Thank you.

I was working on the rolling stones' "gimmie shelter" last night and I can't even get through the introduction on hard guitar. I want Jeff to take a run through and give me some pointers. It's ugly -- and only tier 4! Scratch that. After an hour and a half of practice mode, I scraped through the song. And then I destroyed Faith no More's Epic. I guess how well you know the song really effects how well you can play it since you can anticipate the changes and rhythms. I went from hard and backed off to some medium songs. The difference is incredible. After doing hard, medium becomes too easy and just doesn't have the fun factor that it had when I started. It's only fun if you are in danger of failing!

Well someone had to go and help save the world. I mean Warlord has been at it for like 6 months now and the place is still in danger of complete ruin.

Dragondawg was lamenting our lack of gamesday wrapups for him to read. So here it is in all it's glory, though it may be disappointing for you, Mike.
12:30 - 5: Rock band. 3 people with 4 roles. Dave was singing and playing bass most of the time, though I switched off with him occasionally doing a phil collins singing on the drums. Jeff alternated between guitar and drums, finding that as much as we all hate fall out boy, "Dead on arrival" is a really good drumming song. I played it this morning and tend to agree with him. It's still not as uber cool on the drums as "and justice for all" though.
5-7:30: Rock band. We were burning out, but miss guided arrived so we ended up playing another couple of hours. Jeff began sulking because no board gaming was going on. He refused to sing even though shelby sang the praises of his voice. We were all reminded of Burton and his refusal to do anything but easy bass.
7:30 - 10:00: Got our sh*t together and went to red robin to eat. Lots of talking and laughing, but no gaming.
10:00 - whenever. Pandemic. A co-operative euro-style boardgame which dave, jeff and I lost big time as Asia exploded in outbreak after outbreak. We did find a cure for the common cold. Unfortuantely, it seems ebola is the bigger threat. Who knew.
Whenever - late: 3 dragon ante. It's kind of neat little card game about taking tricks and winning "money." Jeff said it was sort of like poker, but I wasn't really feeling that analogy. There are some interesing dynamics in the card play that create effects. We played a couple of times, only really figuring out the correct rules half way through the second game. Go us.
So that was the entire day. Long with lots and lots of rock band and a couple fun filler games at the end.
Next time, we play only board games. Rock band stays at home.

I never said it actually played like Poker. It is like poker in the sense that you throw money into a pot and play cards to win it back. Sort of like saying, "Railroad Tycoon is a boardgame, like Monopoly", to someone who doesn't know what a boardgame is. Noob. -Vladd
