Wilson is adding a Warcharm for the edge tourney this Sunday. The tourney fee will prolly be somewhere between $8-10.

I didn't even play. I was at home eating Corned Beef, writing out Apps. and playing Zelda. I had more important things to do

I was playing the spiker team that i posted earlier on the forums, and lumpy was running a spikerish team himself. All in all it was a fun little event, and everyone was pretty cool.

I have been playing either Carrion Spiker, Carrion Master or some other goofy Spiker variants for the last couple months, but Pip's warband runs awesome. It definitely gave me some ideas for the 1K in Pittspuke.

Dave and I ran Pip's spiker band on Saturday for fun-- It was pretty solid, but slow to get moving for my tastes with not enough control, but that's a play style issue I think rather than a design flaw. I won with it twice against my old 1k band (though to be fair, dave didn't really know how to play the band as evidenced by his comment (and I'm paraphrasing): "AND HOW DO YOU WIN GAMES WITH THIS sh*t?!!?). Afterwards, we switched bands and I showed him exactly how I win with it. But I digress... Spiker can definitely be a powerhouse. And I like that with all the corpsebuilding going on the big hitter of that army is fairly easy to spawn when you need it.

I see my band moving more towards Pips build but I've been running Castle/Arch, so needless to say no Sludger either. I'll post my version on the mono fear thread so it can be dissected

The problem with not running the sludger, is that the temple teams tend to run you over. Also Zxqueb the team isn't designed to have much control at all, just in general shift strike your opponent into the ground. It is slow to start off though, it doesn't just run up and win the game. The team just slowly eats away at the opposing teams peices, while controling the tempo of the game with the sludger. Barag, sprite, and Valkerie are a few obvious weaknesses.

I know the prob wasn't the Sludger I was just stating he prolly isn't the right peice in my band as it is.
