Out of curiosity, have you listened to 'This Week in Tech'? It's a roundtable discussion on the week's developments in the tech and tech related areas. It's the back-and-forth and different viewpoints that definitely make it more interesting to me than a lot of one or two host podcasts. Have you considered trying something like this?
TWIT generally uses Skype, to my knowledge. Of course, I don't know what kind of bandwidth/performance you'd need, but you might be able to do some interviews this way.

Just looking at that - its the weekend of the 16/17 Sep. The Commemorative Para drop is on the morning of the 16th. That would leave Sat pm/evening and Sunday morning. I'll speak to Mrs C and look at ferries/accommodation etc - and I'll certainly bring the voice recorder...

Just to say that Episode 7 is up and out there. I seem to have conquered my fear of technology...

Ok. It worked fine for me. It just failed twice at close to the same spot. I was just concerned! Thanks once again for another fine report

I finally got the podcast to work. Really great stuff, tjpandv! A funny story to share: I was holding my 4-month-old son while listening to the first podcast. Suddenly I looked down and he was grinning and giggling at the computer. I guess the combination of swirling colors (in the Windows Media player) and the sound of someone talking to him was too much fun! I joked later and told my wife, "See? He loves Mechwarrior! That means I need to play more often and teach him to play too!" She didn't agree.

Man, my wife has said the same thing. Something about my interest in Transformers toys . . . hinting that my son needs a Transformer toy . . . talking about the Transformers movie . . . etc. Wives just don't understand!

Oh, I think you have it wrong Asburygrad.. the problem is that they do understand They are very knowledgable about our tricky conniving toy buying ways tjpandvYou going to put out a new podcast with some updated Ares information or you going to wait until wolfstrike for some information? Actually I saw people posting about their boosters from Dragoncon (Wolfstrike) Pilots not matching uniques.. Actually I think that actually works better for sealed games

Next Podcast will probably be after my trip to Holland/Belgium (15-17 Sep). I'm hoping to get an interview with the Winner of the 2006 Worlds Fellowship but I understand he is a bit shy and doesn't really have much of an opinion about the game...

I've listened to about half of the podcasts now, Phil, and I've really enjoyed them. I might catch up with the last few today. . .
I really appreciated the comments on the Clan Battle Armor. I had honestly overlooked the NC version, in favor of the JF and WH versions. It's interesting to see formations of battle armor outside transports again, even in the World Champion's army. Back to the old days of much-feared SC Clan BA formations!

Just to let you know that I've just uploaded Episodes 8 and 9 which are interviews with Brinxter, Ian Pelgrim and Elite130.
I did mean to use some sort of doozy software to edit these together but old age and a thingyy bladder got the better of me.
